Cook was committed to us for a while. Chump effed up that entire recruiting class with his abysmal coaching AND THEN screwed us when he left to Awwwwburn.

This. I was going to make the same comment but you beat me. I can’t stand Cook. But he was a Gator until we basically gave him every reason to not be. Can’t have an instate rival winning a title while you’re attempting to explain a loss to GSU and still keep the elite players.

And as for Manuel, he was the perfect definition of troll. He had no intention of ever coming here. And we should’ve been smart enough to know he was trolling—not to mention the fact that he couldn’t pass the 5th grade—and saved the public shame of his “flip”.

I'm not sure he ever played a down in college - even the CCs (yes, more than one) where he was enrolled. He did get arrested for trolling for a hooker with a minor child in the car.

This is a generic recruiting comment. Watched Louisville game. They were much smaller, lighter than their opponent, but their speed was fascinatingly dangerous. Maybe, if we're stumbling around with our recruiting, we should get a few guys purely on blinding speed. Don't give that Demps example, other schools have smallish speedstars that are effective - when faith is put in them and they're used right.

That’s the thought with Graham and Johnson I believe

My father went with me the first time I bought a car to make sure I got a good price. I imagine this is a similar approach.

Just think, if only he could do long division and enrolled at fsu, he could’ve had Candi for free.

That’s really the life lesson here. Apply yourself, and you won't have to shop for hookers with your kids in the car.

This is why we own the transfer portal. It’s so simple.

Half-joking...or not? We really do need to land at least 2 transfers for next year's team (WR, MLB, DL?). We've done very well in the transfer portal, especially w/ grad transfers, so I don't have a problem with it.

I actually think this is a solid offer. Seems like his offer list is quickly growing. A&M Mich USCw and east. Heard OSU as well, but can’t confirm that. 5’11 195 HS SR. listed as an APB. That’s a take IMO. Have not seen tape though. Numbers look legit. More of a back than Lee.

His tape is pretty awesome but you have to wonder about the talent level of the opposing teams

I like him too. Runningback is one of those positions that are a dime a dozen.

1. Robert Mahone - 2 star
2. Jonathan Taylor - 3 star
3. Ryan Fulse - not ranked
4. AJ Hines - not ranked
5. Benny Snell Jr. - 3 star

I could go on and on. At this position, solid low ranked backs are not rare. Personally, I don't like a lot of the 4 star backs this year and hope we stay away from them.

Dalton is a 6A team and plays four playoff teams from last year; they also scrimmaged to start the season a 4A powerhouse, Cartersville (Trevor Lawrence's HS), who was last year's 4A runner-up. Overall, some decent competition.

Thank you for this info. Makes me like the kid even more. He’s about to shoot up the ranks. (Guess we’re out.)

Starting this Friday, they play one of those teams every Friday night for the next three weeks. The last of those is Harrison (on 9/27), who is currently #4 in the state in 6A. (Dalton, BTW, is ranked 9th.) Should be interesting to see his stats over that run.
