They did make some adjustments in that 2nd half of that anm game. But that defense was loaded with talent. Not very often do you have 2 first rounders in the middle of your dline. How many good offenses did we face that year? Did muschamp give him full reign off the defense or was muschamp running the show? I'm just saying he may be a little overrated. Probably an upgrade but I think he gets a little too much love here.

Fcvk him! His piss poor schemes have been large contributing factors in 2 losses this year resulting in no trip to the SECCG. Send his azz packing...but that ain’t happening.

I’m so frvking sick of this bend but don’t break, Side hat bullsciht.

Fromm was 20/30. Georgia was 12/18 on 3rd Down. Line the frvk up, Man up and stop somebody. I deal with this sciht at the 5-7 year old level. It’s not science.

Playing soft man, zone bullsciht isn’t/wasn’t getting it done. 3rd grade level stuff for a guy making $$$$

What amazes me is how you can do so well on 1st and 2nd and continue to fail time after time after time after game after game on 3rd and 6+. Its said time and time again again 3rd and Grantham yet nothing changes. How could the guy not realize his mistakes and change something about it.

Step 2 would then be to get Cousin Eddie to explain how he just axed a guy whom about 2 hours earlier he officially called "the best defensive coordinator in college football".
That's right. It's a pipe dream to think that 3rd and Grantham is going to be fired. Not only that, the blame actually falls on our defensive front, those excellent 3 star players, i.e. Jabari Zuniga (3-star), Adam Schuler (3-star), Kyree Campbell (3-star) and Jonathan Greenard (3-star) who were stymied by their 5 star OL. No DC can overcome giving a good passer that much time to throw and he tried blitzing to no avail.

our offense had 3 points after 3 quarters of play. yes the defense was bad. not sure you can blame only grantham though.
That's right. Simply put, it's the talent gap. Florida’s roster contains one 5-star (Brenton Cox, not eligible), 38 4-stars and 35 3-stars. Georgia’s roster boasts 14 5-stars, 45 4-stars and 25 3-stars. It’s a talent mismatch.

Grantham's defense is all about pressure. If he doesn't get pressure, he gets beat. We got none yesterday.

The difference in yesterday's game was the talent level across the O-Line and D-Line. UGA held up where we did not. We are 3 McElwain recruiting years behind jawja right now.

FYI - Charlie Strong will be available at the end of the month. He and Dan worked well together.

He’s a loser and deserves to be fired and then beaten with rods.
My friend, this is exactly like something I would post. I nearly spit my coffee everywhere. You've been hanging around me far too long.

I would let any one of you jerks coach over Grantham
And I would have made sure that Fromm was one solid bruise from head to toe this morning. He may have thrown for 500 but he would have been on ground alot. Think Danny at FSU 96. That kind of pressure. You just don't see that kind of pressure anymore.

I say he fires Grantham in the morning and let Gray takeover from here and open up the position up.

How many possession did the O have in the first half? Remember the first drive, we were moving the ball and then who marches out on the field to run the ball for 1 yd. Our D couldn't get off the field and Dan shyt the bed for 3+quarters on strategy and play calling. The players may be over matched in talent but the play hard and don't quit. Dean has his head up his ass most of the time but for the most part they are giving their all. They deserve better on the sideline.

Exactly right. It's not Grantham's fault that Dean, in spite of being a good football player, is having a terrible year and gets beat regularly, plus misses tackles and takes bad angles in the open field. It's not Grnatham's fault that our linebackers are slow, can't cover and miss tackles. It's not Grantham's fault that Miller & Davis allowed a GA receiver to run wide open for a 50 yard TD. It's not Grantham's fault that Wilson missed an open field tackle and let Swift gain 40. Georgia has outrecruited us for 4-5 years and simply has better players across the board. Mullen does need to step up in his recruiting and get some elite guys in the trenches and at linebacker. While UF is a very good team, LSU and Georgia proved that we are not an elite team yet and can't win championship caliber games unless we play near perfect and/or the other tem makes a lot of mistakes because our players simply aren't good enough.

Gray has never called a defense has he?

Might as well let Swonkey coach out there with a flask of Captain in his back pocket
