Amazing to me that Jerry Jeudy is still on the board. Jags could have CJ and Jeudy at pick 20 if they wanted

Interesting draft question: if you had to pick one for the rest of your life, what do you choose: onion breath or Cheeto fingers?

Can I trade up to take “garlic breath”, which I don’t find to be offensive at all? If not, give me onion. Cheetos are trash.

I’m with you on the onions but I think garlic counts - related to onions!

Fine. Onions easily.

I think routine purchasing of Cheetos should be listed right along side garnishments, judgements and other public records on your credit bureaus. Lenders have a right to know who they’re getting involved with.

Falcons gonna Falcon. They needed a pass rusher...so they took a CB, way too high to boot based on where he was projected to go. Could have traded down, gotten a badly needed extra pick & still gotten the same CB if they really wanted him.

I have no idea how Thomas Dimitroff is still the GM. They Falcons have pissed away so many 1st round picks that haven’t worked out under his watch, and 2nd/3rd/4th rounders, too. Peria Jerry, Sam Baker, Sean Witherspoon, Jake Matthews, Vic Beasley and Tak McKinley are all guys who were wasted picks. Not a single one of those guys were/are studs and only Matthews & Witherspoon might be considered serviceable. Add in the 2 clowns they drafted in Round 1 of 2019 (both of whom will be busts given time) and they have screwed the pooch. He’s really only drafted 2 players in Round 1 who panned out...Julio Jones (a stud, but they traded away the farm to move up & get him) & Matt Ryan, a good but not great QB.

It’s mind blowing how atrocious he’s been. I could have done better making the picks by throwing darts at a board.

Almost as entertaining as watching a WNBA player who just got drafted try to walk in high heels for the first time ever.
The WNBA has a draft? No one watches the games, so I can't imagine a single soul watches the draft, even the draftees families.

So does the first overall pick get a massive 7-year, $180,000 contract?

Not a fan of the Lamb pick by Dallas.

I think that’s a good pick up for you, @TheDouglas78 .
I was just reading how they had him ranked 6th overall on their board, so they were certain they had no chance at him at 17 and he wasn't in any of their internal mock drafts. They hadn't even talked to the guy leading up to the draft.

Jones felt like he couldn't pass. He's still annoyed he passed on Randy Moss in 1998 and is still trying to make up for it.

Lamb ain't Randy Moss.

Wow. Seems like the Raiders reach in every draft.

I thought the exact same thing. I have nothing against Henry Ruggs, but this pick was 100 % Al Davis, may he rest in peace. This was reminiscent of when the Raiders chose Darius Heyward Bey in the 1st round and everyone said WHAT? Sure he was fast in a straight line but not a great receiver. But Al Davis was just throw deep!. They completely whiffed on their first pick in 2019 and I feel they are going to whiff again this year. They did not do much better with that CB they selected. They could have gotten a very similar player on day 3

Coaches almost always make awful heads of player personnel. There are very few exceptions. It seems Chucky is repeating the long history of coaches who tried to do it all and failed miserably.

Every other Falcon fan I know is pissed about this pick and doesn't understand not trading back since he couldn't give away the entire draft to move up. Clearly a settle pick and Dimitroff needed to be gone years ago.

Still think it's a solid pick.

Plus he's a perfect fit for Dallas. Kid's totally used to never advancing beyond the first round of the playoffs.

does every 1st round draftee have a family death sob story to talk about? for fcks sake!

didn't see the draft... did these sob stories involve a cousin, a front porch or backyard gathering, a drive-by and a Tec-9 by any chance?
