Heupel isn't going anywhere. He's nowhere near ready for an OU gig. Hasn't even proved he can win.
Shhhh. I want to see another UT coaching search fiasco.

He's gone.
Stoops is not making a call.Rumor is there’s bad blood between Heupel and Stoops/Oklahoma. Apparently Stoops fired him in 2015, which led to Riley becoming OC. From what I’ve read, this is the fly in the ointment that will keep Heupel out of Norman.
Riley puzzed out. He’s pissed because he didn’t want Oklahoma to join the SEC, they did anyway, so he’s taking a job where the competition isn’t nearly as stiff. He’s 1-3 vs. the SEC, his lone victory coming against-you guessed it-Vacationing Dan Mullen.
He’s a good coach but he always found a way to choke off a game he shouldn’t. He’s never won a NC, for that matter he’s never won a CFB playoff game. He’ll go to SoCal and do what he always does…go 10-2 or 11-1, probably play very little defense, maybe win some PAC-12 championships and flame out in the playoffs if his team makes it in.
Stoops is not making a call.
You might be right. He would rather join the looters in LA and step over human excrement on the streets than compete in the SEC.USC > LSU? I don't thinkk so but apparently Riley does....or is it a mattter of him being afraid to play an SEC schedule and the PAC-12 looks easier? Just wondering....
They hire TN coach and TN can hire Mullen. It all makes perfect sense.Who the hell does LSU get now?
This makes our hire look even worse by comparison. So damn embarrassing that we go out and hire a no name inbred and our AD didn't try to ask Riley. He would have fit here so much better.
I wouldnt even visit cali yet alone live there. I hate the place and have never stepped foot in it. I wish it would separate from the rest of the country and float out to the sea.
About as important as Spurrier's input is to the UF admin. They haven't listened to word Spurrier has said in years. You’re kidding yourself if you think Stoops’ input won’t be important to the administration & the trustees.
Cali is a high talent state? I was told a Cali 5* = Fla 3*.Why not?
Florida, Texass and USC are the flagships in the best talent states.
How nice of you. We're all real broken up out here, not sure what we'll do now.

It's been reported that Napier was the only one that Stricklin interviewed. But we have no idea what back channel conversations took place.
I sure hope so.They hire TN coach and TN can hire Mullen. It all makes perfect sense.
Except WRs and QBs. But it is all relevent. WE should stay in FLA.Cali is a high talent state? I was told a Cali 5* = Fla 3*.
Did you read that in The Enquirer? And yet they listened to Bob when he hand picked Riley as his successor a few years ago.
