Butters and Mullen stumbled to 9-11 win seasons and division titles and still produced hot brown squat for the most part on the recruiting trail afterward. Believe it or not I believe Napier should get a fair shake regardless if he goes 6-6 or 7-5....my issue is I don't think the rest of the fanbase will realize the hole that he's operating out of to start.

What is the strong point of our roster that gives us an advantage over 3/4 of the teams you're seeing on our schedule? Where is he going to be able to exploit mismatches? I get that we have a QB with potential and maybe a few nice RB's but were probably weaker at WR and Oline.

Again at this time what are you seeing that would invoke 10 wins?

What are you seeing that would "invoke" us getting the 21st-ranked class next year??

You know next year's recruits will be touring the newly-completed training facility, right?

According to CBS, we have the 16th ranked 2022 recruiting class without including transfers. Top half of the league. I have to count that as a successful 6 weeks for the Napier team.

this latest commit brings us to 19th on rivals and 16th on 247.

I like that we round off this crazy recruiting season with a win.

this is a respectable transition class especially considering that atrocious state of the program re: recruiting when Napier stepped into the fray with very little time to work.

Sure but it would be a pretty safe bet were not getting in the top 10....BTW just so the rest of the clowns don't jump on this as a prediction I just glanced down the roster minus transfers and we probably are good for at least 7-8 wins considering there will be some growing pains and a tougher start to the schedule than usual...Just remember LSU, UGA, TAMU games could all be loses due to talent disparity alone....The 2 games I'm circling will be the UK and UT games. Say what you want about Stoops and KU they have simply been more physical than us for the last 4 years for the most part...That will tell a lot about our strength and conditioning....the UT game will be a challenge in front of 100K and Heupels fast paced offense. If we come out of those games good I'll be a happy camper.

Your math must be wrong. I was told that after a 6-6 season the best ranking we could hope for is #21.

Does anyone else think maybe this halfassed online TV network, CBS Sports HQ, faked the technical difficulties during Richie Rich's announcement, so they could squeeze another commercial break in while they kept us waiting 20 minutes for the 6:30 P.M. announcement?
