Rivals top 100 OT Aaryn Parks says he will take an official to Florida. Need to get in there and tell Hev to not be a total prick during this visit.

Aaryn Parks, 2020 Offensive tackle - Rivals.com
So, let’s say Parks commits, do we still pursue Dumervil who now seems interested? Personally, I’d say yes as so many OL recruits don’t pan out. Over recruit and process out the ones who can’t cut it. Brutal, but the way things are if you want to compete.

You’d think with the attrition and with Hammond maybe not qualifying we try to take 4-5 this class with the loss of another scholarship

I am in the camp that you can NEVER have enough OL at ALL stages of development.

IMHO what makes ELITE programs is the ability to plug in new lineman…Fatigue, Injury, Leave…

It takes SO much longer to develop a good OL (Strength, Knowledge, Maturity...) and that's provided he even has talent.

Dude... the Donk has been saying that for YEARS....

Btw.... isn’t 5.7 on Rivals a 3* but 5.8 is 4* ?

I’ll take big strong OL from Florida all day long. We’ve had some high 4* and 5* who never really lived up to the hype.

He’s a top 100 player in FLORIDA as an OL which is the hardest position to evaluate. If Hevesy wants him, that’s good enough for me. And no, it’s not a trust the coaches thing. He and Grey are the only position coaches I feel comfortable saying that about.

Commits: Gervon Dexter, Leonard Manuel, Derek Wingo, Jaheim Bell, Anthony Richardson
Class Rank: No. 6

The Opening provides Florida’s future quarterback, Richardson, an opportunity to work with a pair of future Gator pass catchers in Manuel and Bell. Richardson, who ranks as the nation’s No. 304 overall prospect, will have a chance to elevate his stock at Elite 11. Manuel (No. 67 overall) is one of the nation’s top receivers, and Bell (No. 384 overall) is one of the nation’s top athletes. Dexter, the nation’s No. 42 overall prospect at defensive tackle, is Florida’s top overall prospect in attendance.

Top Florida targets in attendance include four-star defensive end Chantz Williams.

It is ok, but we pretty much know Manuel isnt going to be in the class

I think he sticks unless it becomes a grade issue again. But our staff clearly doesn’t give af about that

How did we get Robinson and Lemons a waiver but we can’t get one for possibly a 5* receiver?

The Ronald Powell as TE take might be one of the most infamous ever
Ro Po is real. Still think we wasted a marvelous athlete. Never thought Butters was a great hire, but I did stick with him too long. The "hate the recruiting services" trope is an outright lie and donk knows it. He only goes to the big lie when he has been righteously called out. I like and respect the recruiting services, but I don't worship them. If CFB were a religion, the astrologers would be idolators worshipping a false good. I am surprised donk has self selected himself to be an astrologer, his recruiting posts usually show a balanced use of stars and other factors

In Donk's mind... anybody who gave Butters a shot... stuck with him too long (I'm guilty also) and I don't care about the recruiting services thing...

Powell might have been a great athlete, but I don't think we wasted him. I think he wasted himself. He is currently a journeyman NFL player, but with his athletic ability he should be a clear starter somewhere.. maybe it is more on his work ethic and preparation than anything a coach did.

You guys realize that Crete "remembers" that I was a Butters Pumper and "must have deleted all those posts" in support of that atrocious hire, right?
