You are probably correct, but two points:There is zero chance he comes back to, at best, re-enter a battle with Trask and maybe more importantly, Jones. I would agree under different circumstances. And this isn't a knock on him. But he's not the guy, at this stage of his career, that will be ok sitting on the bench. Not to mention he's likely not 100% until Fall camp at the earliest. As I said, he can leave with his head held high for his role in what appears to be a rebirth of the Gators. Coming back to maybe get a shot, maybe not, maybe underwhelm again, etc. makes no sense.
(1) Won't the NFL need to know that he is healed to draft him?
(2) I didn't say he would come back, merely that I wanted as many as possible.
I don't think that the board has fully realized how badly not getting a QB last year hurts.
