Losses to LSU and USCe. We defend the Swamp and finally get the Mizzu monkey off our back. I think our Oline, QB, and WR corps will be a lot better than most of us think right now. Therefore we will have a supriese season and compete if not win the East.

Can I change my bold prediction to 11-1 and SEC EAST Champs please?

Aaaahhhhhh. But you didn't include my post immediately following that which looks remarkedly spot on (other than the win total).

I think we place somewhere between 7-9 wins. 9 wins will take some lucky bounces. 7 wins much more realistic. I think the first half of the season we will struggle mightily and lose a game or two that we should not.

We will struggle a bit with pass protection and the QBs will have some growing pains. The incoming OL class will be in the rotation from day one and at least two of them will be starters by the midway point of the season. We will lean heavily on KT on offense but Scarlett will start to come into his own in the latter half of the season and he will explode against FSU. The OL will also start to gel at the end of the season.

Wow, what a great read this was! Some very prescient predictions and opinions, especially Phin and NCO. I was thinking along the lines of 6-6 or 7-5. It's hard to believe we are staring at 11-1 and a trip to Atlanta. Keep the boys focused, Mac. Don't run any stop signs!
