So I guess we’ll just continue to convert DE’s into TE’s?

It would be nice to get one, and maybe we do get someone between now and Feb, but we have Zip for one more year(maybe 2), Odom Zander and then Boardingham who I think the staff is really high on. We aren’t desperate really. I don’t follow recruiting that closely all year, but I haven’t seen or heard of any can’t miss TE prospects in this class. I was personally totally ok missing out on the Platt kid. So maybe we look to the portal here as well.

He was even cooler on Anger Management - Charlie Sheen's neighbor
Fun fact.

My old CEO's sis is Shawnee Smith, who played Charlie Sheen's ex in Anger Management. Also survived several of the Saw movies. I got to hang with her a few times.

Sweet lady.

If all these guys that we're missing on we're strongly favoring other schools why aren't we recruiting some guys that we can get?
Desperation. T you know as well as anyone that there are certain coaches who can work with and develop average talent and come away with a winning, respectable, and enjoyable to watch product.... we ain't got one of them. If this guy were handed his pick of the top 100 players in consecutive years we would still lose games due to piss poor preparation, on the field coaching and god awful game management....plain and simple.

We're gonna rise in the rankings by Feb. (assuming we sign someone) We only have 20 and most of the classes ahead of us are full.
We sit at a player average of 92.34 which I think is the highest we've been since 2010? (93.33). Averages have been slowly rising so today's 92 was probably 2010's 91.

But average is as good a predictor as any. .
Tier 1
1) Bama 94.76 (27)
Tier 2
2) UGA 93.64 (26)
3) OSU 93.57 (20)
Tier 3
4) UT 92.82 (22)
5) UF 92.34 (20)
6) UM 92.24 (26)
7) ND 92.10 (24)
8) LSU 92.01 (25)
Tier 4
9) OK 91.43 (24)
10) Clem 91.07 (26)
11) Oregon 91 (28)
Tier 5
12) Tenn 90.72 (25)

Like a lot of you I think the class is very solid. Low std. dev. compared to the past.

Rivals has our average player rating for the class at 3rd in the nation behind bammer and the bucknuts. But if we bring in five or so into the class by Feb then this will lower because there is nothing left in the top 250 nationally.

247 says we got four of the top 100.

DB and WR class is great. We got an elite qb and rb in the class. Four DEs who will play at SEC weight. Three OL at or over 300 lbs.

18 solid four star players.

But, no five stars, only one LB, and one true DT. And the teams we are looking up at in our conference signed some amazing classes.

Still lots of work to do in the trail, in the portal, and on the field….

We were 92.34 earlier today before Rashada signed and they also have him as a 4* not a 5*.
