Because he’s really more of a west coast guy. Part it the problem is that Mac doesn’t have the cutthroat mentality needed in the SEC (among other factors). His laid back mentality is a better fit in the pac 12.

Wow, great job by OSU to get rid of their coach and not have to honor the contract buyout. Maybe they settled under the table, but be that as it may, it means they will have more cash to throw at their next head coach. as Rod, Roddy used to say on The Price is Right: "Butters, Come on Down!"
