Bart, you really need to learn how to link a photo without downloading it ;)

Yep, Wobble indicated something like that a week or two ago, but nobody told me how to do it different than the way I've always done it. I'm pretty narrow-minded once I figure out how to do something. If yee would like to provide detailed instruction on how to do it the way you indicate, I will make the effort to comply.

So, when you see a photo or gif on any website simply right click on the picture. Now I use Chrome, so when I do that a list pulls up and I can either "copy image URL" or "open image in new tab".
I like to open the image in new tab, that way I can see the full URL name in the URL section near the top of your browser, but either should work.
Then copy that URL section completely, if you didn't just "copy image URL", and then load it here just like you normally do, by clicking on the underlined A just above the typing box. Hover over and click on the link for "image" on the tool bar, then paste the URL link in the URL line...no need to upload to the system here, or download anything to your computer. I "copy image URL" from this site of the photo you posted below.

So I'm pasting the URL into the box and then I hit 'Add Link' then 'Post Reply'. Only the URLs are showing up. I use Google Chrome too.

No wonder I've always done it the way I do it.

What I'm posting into the box is not what's showing up in the final post. :dunno:

You missed the above part. You don't just post the URL link into the box, you have to link the image URL using the image link.

In the tool bar I clicked the 'post link' image (looks like a chain link) then in the http box I posted the link that I had copied. Is the link for 'image' tool that you cite the same as my 'post link' tool?

Then where is this tool bar where you are finding the link for 'image' that I need to hit? I don't see it.

I didn't do so well in school, obviously.

Sorry for the delay, actually had to work for a few minutes there.
We don't have the same tool bar for some reason. I don't see the 'mountains' icon anywhere on my screen. Is there a way I can get more tools?

Do you see the Underlined A on the far right? You have to click that.
