Basic stuff. Wife really likes these salmon fillets because they’re only abou 6-7oz. Perfect amount in her book. Little green peas and rice pilaf. Strawberry lemonade for the beverage at the time.

Cool little contraption. It’s a Weber Beer Can Chicken replica. Add your spices in the bowl, add beer, put the chicken prop on top and place chicken over top.

It’s simple. Trim bird. Season with smoke rub (I can provide if wanted). The Weber pan is a replica for a beer can. You put seasoning in the little bowl/cup, add beer and put stand top on. Place bird over, legs down and cook. You can do it on a gas grill, which I did for years, or recently on the Traeger. It cooks for about 1 hour (1.5 hour) on Traeger. It’s moist beyond belief.

Dang I can’t get my electric smoker that high...may be time to sabotage that do I can get a real one
That’s about as high as I can get my Traeger. It says you can sear steak but that’s pushing it.

But you said it works on a gas grill? Haven’t tried beer can chicken in that yet. I love smoking it...the chicken is great but basically just toss the skin but that’s a travesty

Yes. I have a 3 burner Weber gas grill. Front, middle, back. Heat all 3 to high heat. Turn off middle, front/rear on medium. Cook for about 30-45. Good stuff.

3 weeks ago went thru Emanuel County and stopped at the Kwik Stop in Kite and picked up a couple bottles of cane. I bought this guy's syrup before and was really good. Didn't look close til I got home and see that he now adds a small amount of corn syrup to his so now Imma look for a new source. I think I found one in Metter at Grady's Truck Stop.
Still pretty good but you can taste the difference, thinner taste and slicker than straight cane. It takes 10 gallons of cane juice squeezings to make one gallon of syrup.

The corn syrup keeps it from turning into a bottle of Rock Candy plus it's much cheaper than cane syrup.
