Was at a Chanukah Menorah lighting event tonight. Several 50-something Dogs my wife grew up with were there (she went there, too). They still can't get over it, still can't come to grips with it. They can't get a good night's sleep. They've truly melted down. I should have told them, "yeah, but you're going to the SUGAR BOWL" but I didn't it. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to going to the Benz to see my Gators play Meechigan. The local Dogs don't like it that I'm excited over that, but after dwelling in the dumps since 2009, I think this is the beginning of something special in Gator Football.
All of Savannah's Dog nation is in a deep funk, ultimate angst. I love it. Couldn't have happened to a nicer fanbase!
