Pre "Swamp" - 1969...UF vs. Houston...saw the first TD from Reaves to Alvarez.

"Swamp" - 1997 - UF vs. FSU...never felt a stadium shake like it did after we scored to take the lead, then intercepted to close the deal.

1993 F$U. Dad (Gator grad) and I went and it was so loud I couldn't hear myself think. Screaming "It's great! To be! A Florida Gator!" on the way out of The Swamp after the hard fought loss is something I'll never forget.

1965. Dad dropped us off in front of west stands. You could still drive up on game day. Had $2. 1.50 for the gen. admission ticket and 50cent for a coke and snack. Some guy gives us free tix in front of the stadium. We we sell them for $3 each.......Then my friend has a friend working there that gets us in free. I was a gator from then on. Made $3 got in free and saw them play some SEC team that escapes me now. I was ten years old. First bowl game I went to: Fla vs Tenn. 69 gator bowl. My grandmother took me in her new Ford Maverick. Great lady

November 22, 1997. It was my 14th birthday and went with several friends and family members. Some of which are Noles. Earlier that day some of us went to go see Starship Troopers.
Then went to the game. It was one hell of a day.

August 1997. Southern Miss. That was my first semester at UF. Back when there wasnt enough student tickets and you had the landline phone on rapid redial. If i remember correctly... student season tickets were something like $55 (per year).

1983 and it was either Miami or Indiana State (can't remember).. It was the first time I got to go to a game with my dad.

It occurs to me that some of us oldtimers are going to need to change our answer. My first game at Florida Field was 1975. My first game at the Swamp was 1990. There's a difference.
