I was doing a message board "drive by" to check and see if I had any "Warning Points" yet. Then I quickly realized I was on the right board, the one with adults, and not the other one where you get "Warnings" like elementary school.

By virtue of who they are, the Sun will be a feeder for new blood. . New posters will find their way there. So I think the best policy is, when you do chose to go over there, to make nice but make an occasional reference to an interesting post at gatorchatter. I'm not happy with them and I'm sure the majority here are not. But a full on GSMB sucks post won't help bring traffic here.


By the way GSMB sucks, and the layout is fugly.

Wow, I registered for gatorsports in the late 90's right after CBS canceled their forums the first time and before vols sites. I forgot the password and never could reset it. I got an email today saying the forums are back and was able to reset it after years.

Part of me thinks this may actually help us, not hurt us. At any rate, there's always going to be competition, you just have to try and have a better product. It was always in the back of my mind that they may pull this stunt. I know for a fact there were several people at the Sun that strongly disagreed with the order to pull the forum in the first place. They must have finally won their argument.....or the declining numbers changed some minds at the top.

When the board was up I would occasionally click over and read some of their mediocre articles. I haven't done that in months. I know I'm not the only one.
