A big part of a successful message board is feeling comfortable and at home. Seeing familiar faces. That's why I think avatars are so important and are mandatory here.

I've left mine the same for years just for that reason. I considered changing it to a dicpic recently to make Gorilla feel more at home, but I thought you might ban me.
