FYI, SIL out of surgery, didn’t start until 3 after scheduling backup. Going to see her in about an hour and drive the hour home.

Keep praying y’all. They took the breathing tube out Thursday, but had to put it back in and sedate her Friday. No change today, heart ok, but lungs not improving as hoped. Next step if no improvement is ECMO treatment at main hospital in uptown Charlotte where they have facilities. Wife is ok, I’m beat, these daily or twice daily trips to the Queen City are taxing.

I’m trying to have a normal afternoon, plan to watch the G-Webb playoff game at Mercer at 3 and us pound the Evil Nole into peace pipe filler at 7. Wife and I both need a break.
