What's going to be funny is when Lawrence pulls a John Elway and tells the Jags he's not playing for them.

The Jags could get a huge amount in trade for the pick but we all know they would eff it up and would settle for magic beans.

You’re determined to rain on our parade aren’t you? Also, I’m expecting the gags to gag this up like always. It is what we do.

They’ll trade the top pick for #12 and a 6th rounder...then take a long snapper at #12.

There are a lot worse places to go than Jacksonville, actually. For example, a place like the Bengals, where Burrow had to go, would be much worse. At least with the Jags you have a nice warm climate and no state income tax.

To fully appreciate the opportunity Jacksonville has now, you have to understand the degree to which the city prior to the Jags was used like a two-bit whore by NFL owners looking to leverage a sweeter deal back home.

I was living in Neptune Beach in ‘79 when Colts owner Robert Irsay made his grandiose entrance at the Gator Bowl by being plopped down at the 50 in a helicopter. Eight years later, Oilers owner Bud Adams left Jax teased and jilted again.

I’m happy for you, Jax. You deserve some good times.

No running backs should be taken in the first two rounds.....ever. I think enough people have learned their lessons by now.

He should look long and hard at how certain states handled COVID and income tax implications. From that standpoint, the Jags have some real benefit.

Watch them draft some rando defensive player. Jag will jag this up in typical fashion.
