I also enjoy listening to folks who know X and O's better than I ever will. I always look forward to Cover2's postgame analysis.

But I have to say that based on your recent posts it would appear that Mullen isn't qualified to coach the North Myrtle Beach Pop Warner team. I mean, I haven't seen you say a single positive thing about him, not one. It's understandable that he wasn't the top choice of most Gator fans but when you universally bash everything about the guy, and anything related to his coaching resume, past, present and future.....well, it does impact your credibility as a football analyst just a bit.

At the risk of being repetitious I'll repeat myself......when he has absolutely nothing positive to say about anything related to Mullen (zero, zip, nada) then it impacts his football analysis credentials. I understand if he's not impressed with Mullen. When he portrays him as a complete loser/bum he is no longer an objective analyst.

There is very little positive to say about Mullen. He is a very mediocre OC that can do well if he has a certain type of QB, Tebow and Prescott. What more can you say really?

Stop disappointing me with the disparity between your football knowledge and your speculation on coaching. Of course we don't know how much DM has contributed to the development of his QBs, but his continual association with outstanding QBs, some of whom weren't outstanding before meeting Mullen, certainly is noteworthy. And by the same line of reasoning, you don't know what dropped him in the draft. The NFL makes boneheaded decisions with startling frequency. On QBs its record is particularly atrocious.

What impressed me most about Kelly was his ability to exploit a defense at snap-time. Teaching a QB the queues and keys to look for AS THE PLAY PROGRESSES and make a good decision!...I hope that DM has that kind of intellegence and can teach that kind of behavior! If so... then maybe we have something here. Adaptibility brugh!

I disagree. Reaching out to ANY big recruits is not a waste of time. This is how you try and earn your 6 million.
