Actually, I'm still fighting the good fight on that one. I've always made my kids listen to GOOD music, and a variety of it. And, accidently, it is scoring points with teachers when my kid sings along to their songs in school.

But...the age of air pods and iphones is slowly tuning them out of the quality experience I offer on car rides :\
the struggle is real :fistbump: My kids earned big points in school knowing 80's and 90's music, and Simon & Garfunkel will live on for at least one more generation with my Daughter

I'm waiting to see if either of mine go through a Beatles or Pink Floyd phase. Closest so far is my oldest loving Eleanor Rigby. Safe bet they won't repeat my 80's hair metal phase.

I have always listened to "classic" country when driving around with our kids. Most of them still enjoy it to this day though it isn't their chosen preference.

A child would draw back a nub if they even attempted to change the music selection while I am driving

In the spirit of the day, waiting with bated breath for an entire football recruiting class to commit on NSD, with the expectation none of those committed will ever play anywhere else.

Yes, I’m that old.
At the Pizza Hut restaurant (the one with the funky building shape that everyone knew was a Pizza Hut whatever city you were in) there was a cigarette machine near the juke box. My parents would give us a few quarters to play songs just to get us away from the table while we were waiting on the pizza to be delivered.

Put "Missile Command" next to the juke box.
