Ok, on the white tube socks pulled up over the calf...guilty. Even growing up in the hot summers of Florida, wearing jeans for like 3 years straight (felt I had chicken legs).
Over the recent holidays, my oldest had hip surgery and is needing the wife and I to put their socks and shoes on so they can crutch their way around for things. They get vehemently upset that I pull their socks up all the way rather than leave them bunched up around the ankle. I was doing this to them because I *still* wear any socks pulled up all the way (even dress socks), and it feels weird to have them bunched around the ankles. So, I did this to my kid, and the more they protested the higher I yanked 'em.
