I coudn't care less about the cotton bowl to be honest.
I really would have gone to a Cotton bowl. It is just so boring going to the same three cities for every bowl game.

I'm sure we'll never be invited back after that shtt show.

20 years ago I would have. Now its just a stupid game nobody cares about because its the losers who didn't get into the playoffs. But I'd take Dallas over Atlanta every time (except in early December). F Atlanta. That town sucks.

Is that new Cousin Eddie Trampstamp still itchy? I always wondered how long thozs hurt.

First, 3/4 of the team was not out. not even 3/4 of the starters were out. and almost no one declined to play until after the head coach declined to play that week.

Why should the players play in a game that the head coach wasn't even going to prepare for
?

The players didn't quit, Douchebag Dan quit.

You realize I essentially said those very words. His approach to the game was ridiculous. And as neteng said, especially if you're going to tout the wins in previous years. Absolutely can't have it both ways. But the fact remains, there were way too many players out, namely Pitts, Toney and Grimes who'd accounted for almost all big plays all season. There's a reason Trask's stock didn't drop that much despite his performance. It wasn't his fault he was put out there with a bunch of players he'd barely played with. But again, the entire approach was wrong and that's on Mullen. If we're going to adopt the mentality of bowl games not meaning anything, I'd really hope we have the balls, and decency, to just say it and decline the offer. No reason to go out and embarrass yourself and the program.

The city itself, the airport, the NFL team, the NBA team. All dreadful.

All of it. Rudest effing people in the world. Driving through it is a nightmare. Getting delayed in the airport is certrain. While airport food is crap across the whole country, its especially crap there and the people serving you are a bunch of lazy rude low lifes. The downtown area is depressing for such an old southern city. Its just all around the crapiest place in our country.

I spent 30 minutes just trying to find the Gordon Biersch when I was coming back from NY in 2018 . The only place any employee knew how to find was Ludacris' chicken place. And yes, there's always some reason you can't take off on time. I avoid at all costs. MY wife used to watch the various "Housewives". Even in that, it was hands down the worst of the bunch. Oh, and did we mention their baseball team(I know some here like it, but still) incorporates the tomahawk chop into their repertoire? Just burn the whole place down again and start over.

It really comes down to QB play. If they play well, this team may have a shot at 9 wins. If they play lousy, a 5-7 record is not out of the question. UF no longer has a top defense to guarantee 6 to 8 wins and the talent level is the thinnest in 3 decades.

It's time to face cold reality: Butters was a better recruiter than Mullen.

You’re piecing words of mine together. Let me rephrase. I don’t think we should lose 3 regular season games. In my view that’s blanking in all three big contests. I’d consider that grounds to begin looking elsewhere.

That said, I do think we can beat all three. I’m not saying we will, and I’ve already entertained the idea of going 0-3. But there isn’t a team on our schedule that we simply have no shot at this year, especially given that we get the toughest at home.

As for the noles, I never said we were in trouble. I listed them as an off the radar team that could be “a bigger challenge than we’ve grown used to”.

Between that confusion and your repeated lose/loses mistakes, it’s pretty obvious that when you say you’ve been “hitting the sauce”, you really mean shot-gunning Steel Reserve tall boys in between pcp hits.
I'm pretty sure we don't have that in LA. Sounds more like a Philly thing to get you lubed up for tossing batteries.

Your post really wasn't that complicated. More or less the same as always:

Freeze is about the only available coach when we hired Mullen that I think would have us back right now.

Just imagine how bad he has to be to be worse than Butters.
He probably doesnt CARE any less. Both were so arrogant as to believe they were the real reasons that Saban and Meyer won, and their own 500ish records are just evidence of bad luck.

It is hard to be more lazy, but it appears Douchebag has achieved the title. I mean he's not actually lazy per se. He's probably pretty active out there on vacation.

Freeze was barely above .500 against Mullen(3-2), while cheating at OM, and was blown out by a guy named James McElwain.

Hard pass on that buck-toothed, tranny hooker ordering, anime porn watching, country bumpkin.

We can do better.

Yeah, I think Net missed the reference. It wasn't an endorsement of Freeze, it was an attempt at a witty repartee playing on the idea that I felt it was "cold" of Finger to remind Ox of his assurance that Chip Kelly was the next coach to which I feigned sympathy, only to drop the "Freeze" photobomb reminding Ox and others that before he assured us Kelly was the hire, Ox told us his "insiders" had told him it was a done deal that Freeze was going to be the Head Coach. When you have to explain this stuff it really takes away from the impact.
