we don't need another 5'10" receiver that fsu passed over. They're gonna get another 6'2" stud receiver Phillips, who wanted to be a gator.

Phillips is history because of the previous regime. Why would we not take a 4 star in an area of need because of others' mistakes?

Area of need? We have derrick Dillon committed and Alvin Bailey on the roster, basically the same player. Not to mention worton and Valdez showers are also very similar. We've have enough undersized slot type receivers. We need some tall burners on the outside, all we have there is Robinson and fulwood. Fulwood has been pretty non existent.

Law didn't say that. Law said the existence of this program as a viable IA team is dependent on making up for the complete incompetence in recruiting OL. The problem was critical 3 years ago and was evident when we couldn't even practice at times in the spring much less field a spring game. You'll note this has never happened to any other 1A team. It is now to the point that we may have terrible, even winless, seasons next year and the following year if we don't make immediate emergency corrections in OL recruiting. It's entirely possible that we have 3 or more freshmen OL playing next year.

You'll forgive me if I don't lose sleep over the potential 7th or 8th DEs on our depth charts.

This is really the bottom line. If you don't have enough players to have a spring game, expect to go 4-8.

Why in the world was the last staff not all over this guy?

You would think T-Rob would have some sort of say in who is recruited. :dunno:

Mind boggling is definitely the right word. Williston got it right. Somebody earlier said they didn't like the way he camped? I'm so glad we have a new staff.

Perhaps this has been covered early in this thread or in other discussions, but what was the perception of Mac as a recruiter with Bama? Seems it isn't scared to talk to anyone. It's starting to look like Champ was ignoring guys who wanted just a little bit of "courting." Perhaps that's why we've landed so few studs on the offensive side of the ball

Champ was more concerned with getting squeaky clean guys. Maybe Pellage stole a piece of candy when he was a 9 year old that disqualified him. :dunno:

Champ and Randy Shannon were brothers from a different mother.

We've recruited many guys in the last four years who were not squeaky clean. We weren't thugging as bad as we were but several kids had issues.

Well we haven't had anybody shooting people in the face around Gainesville lately, stealing a dead girl's credit cards, or ripping off a few rounds of his AK47 in a parking lot, so.... :dunno:

Jc Jackson is showing some serious promise in that category. He's like 50cent, he survived a bullet to the face!
