1. Billy Latsko came on in 2005, not 2006. So it took 7 games, but really 2 losses, for Meyer & Mullen to revamp the offense.
.
Nahhhh.... for a while we continued to run option, and even had Latsko at WR some hoping that blocking w fix the sideways passing aspect of the offense.

The only time that offense looked like anything but a monkey trying to figure out calculus was 06 OSU, not coincidentally, the only game we passed behind the LBs much.

Where the hell did I say that? I said Mullen was outcoached, which he was.

Sarcasm. Not obtuse. Wasn't arguing with the person I was quoting.

Players, coaching, discipline, etc., matter a lot more than scheme. Scheme only fixes bad scheme. The other things are more important.
