you're the one whos always talking about how you believe napier is the guy, you think we are headed in the right direction, you believe the kids are buying in. you keep saying that drivel. most of the rest of us are just looking at the results.
so go ahead and tell us, because you're the one using them to form your position.
easily be 9-2... GTFOH. we could just as easily be 2-9. We are 6-5 exactly as I stated we were. Enough with the ifs and butts bullsht.
It would also appear different/more hopeful if our coaching did not appear to be one of the larger factors of our losing, whether that is game management, head pounding play calling of the same things over and over again (he is making Mac's third down and long, play action, TE 3 yard out seem like it was rarely called compared to the AR roll out right or the 1 yard WR screen), and defensive game plans.
Can we all agree, that regardless of your view on the WR screen game in football overall (varying from Donkey's hatred to Zaunbracher's near pornographic view of it), ole Billy's WR screens are the least productive use of plays we have witnessed across an entire season? They make Daz's Rainey/Demps dive plays look downright Bill Walsh-esque, yet we waste downs consistently with them and have not adjusted how we are running them.
That is the bigger issue I have with Nola's takes on these games. Yes, there are lots of outwardly positive OFF FIELD improvements. But, between the lines, it is hard to see a single noticeable improvement in any aspect of the three phases of the team. Penalties, I suspect, will be his retort. But, there is not a less impactful stat in the history of Florida football. Nearly every SEC Championship team at UF has been near the top of penalties per game.
