Megan Rupinoe has basically won the last two games for the United States. Maybe a few other players can rise to her level. But I have my doubts.

I’m not hurt. I’m just a consumer that doesn’t want politics in my entertainment...from either side. It’s made me quit watching several entertainers, as well. They get a microphone stuck in their face because they excel at sports or acting but most of them are as dumb as a bag of hammers.

Me too. Millions of others as well. But it just won't stop and ESPN is the captain of this ship. Even on their shows from 5 to 6 at night it's always politics involved. Thus I don't watch nearly as much as I used to. The political diatribe is never-ending.

the issue is the media keeps asking her about it and she keeps discussing it which got the president's attention. She should just say I've made my opinions clear on visiting White House what I'm struggling with with the problems in this country it's all well documented on the internet what I said. I don't put all the onus on her. I just want her to play ball and I want the girls to win. I see Megan special as a soccer player I do not see her special because she's lesbian. I don't know if she can get the rest of the team to play up to her level but the last two games will be interesting to see. But you can't count on a goofy goalie playing in these last two games for the opponent. That first goal yesterday was a work of art by the American girls but the goofy goalie saw the ball coming at her then they screened her and instead of staying in her position she ran for the near Post. Goallllll! Lol. But you can't count on that kind of luck again.
This mixing of politics and sports is stupid, especially the hateful way it's been done the last 2-3 years. And especially from those representing the United States. Believe what you want, vote how you want, express yourself how you want in you personal life. But when you put on a jersey that has you representing your country, or representing a team that has made you a multi-millionaire (NFL & NBA), appreciate what you have, STFU, proudly represent your team/country. I would rather have a team put on the USA uniform that is proud to wear it, win or lose, than have a great player who hates her country.
