Does joeblow have anything better to do than write a thesis with every post?

Should the thread be changed to "Shocker: Joe Blow defends something that is anti gator and he knows nothing about"

I really think this faux trial with no attempt to pick an untainted jury was worse than the Rapeis method of just having the prosecutor give a press conference, laughing at the concept of punishing a player, slapping high fives with the coaches, and leaving the room.

Their coverage will be even worse.

Dalvin Cook should have never been charged in the first place. It is an amazing story of malfeasance and I would not be surprised to see some type of sanction meted out to the prosecutor. They actually tried to slip the daughter of Willie Meggs, the state attorney, on to the jury. The third person who supposedly saw the incident and was not called by the state turns out to be a homeless man who was arrested three days before the trial. That explains why he wasn't there. The prosecutor calls FSU football players as witnesses for the state? The accuser claims she was punched in the face, by a 200 lb plus athlete, several times and her injuries are a slightly cut lip? The state tries to introduce a fake Twitter account as evidence. The prosecutor mentions a "tape" in front of the jury, obviously in the hope that they will think of the case of another player and hope they will not know they are not the same.
As one juror said, I don't understand why Cook was charged in the first place. As the Miami attorney who represented Cook said, you can't make this stuff up.Cook's attorney is filing a complaint with the Florida Bar over prosecutorial misconduct. How this case was ever brought to trial is a sign of extreme incompetence, or worse, by the state attorney's office. You bring two women who admit they were drunk, and one of them even admits to being the aggressor and hitting one of the football players, and also says the guy who supposedly punched her several times was "nice" to her and she asked him to escort her to her car, and you think you have a case that doesn't have reasonable doubt? If it didn't actually happen, you'd think no prosecutor could be so stupid.

I actually agree with you here. This was a complete joke. It was from the start and it still is. Can you imagine if this happened during Meyer's time at UF? The Gators would have been slain by the media.

One could only hope.

At this point though, it's obvious he's not taking your multiple ban threats seriously...not sure why?

There were a lot of questionable tactics and missteps from the State

JoeBlow clearly an alias, not sure why that isn't obvious to all by now.

Well, I've said from the beginning it was an obvious troll attempt or an alias. But man, those are some long ass posts for an alias. Not sure I'd be committed enough to an alias to write such long posts in defense of all things fsu. Seems more like a nole troll to me. :dunno:

I had the same concern. But I don't think I could match his lack of punctuation or grammar. Perhaps most of all I don't think I could maintain the topic focus as .... hey, squirrel!
