My wife and I watched her in the Olympic qualifier a few weeks ago, and it was obvious then she was choking under the pressure of being the "GOAT." We both predicted that she was going to be a bust, and Biles knew it too, which is why she quit.
Honestly, I think she did the right thing by quitting. If she would have continued, Team USA wouldn't have medaled. Her biggest mistake was boarding the plane to Tokyo. If she was never there, USA would have had a better chance for gold.
Ultimately, she is a great athlete and gymnast. But she's not a true competitor. The true greats thrive under pressure and embrace competition. She proved to the world that she is not the greatest of all time.
