Football hires aside, I couldn't handle another presser with him. His sense of style was simply atrocious. His insistence on poorly fitting sport coats with equally terrible ties was criminal. Looked like he woke up in the dumpster behind Belks and just threw something on and came to work.

I think his shared sense of sloppy, ill fitting, unmatched Belk's outfits attracted him to Mac.

he's broken a few things over the course of Mac's firing and up to now. and Sexton is Butter's agent. Maybe during the course of firing him, he kinda burnt his bridge a little with Stricklin and now he doesn't want to hire one of his clients

Kind of interesting. David Dunn "works for" the Trace Armstrong agency and was Frost's agent. Then Trace took over Frost personally.

RE: the recruiting issue.
I think the NCAA now just automatically finds fault with the HC because he, after all, is the one in charge. I don't think the NCAA did that in the past. So the HC is gonna get his hands slapped even if it's a rogue assistant.
Since the NCAA didn't accuse Kelly directly then we can assume they didn't find a smoking gun pointing at him.

Sexton reps a lot of the big time coaches and sports personalities. Folks were predicting he would be difficult for UF to deal with in the post Mac firing search.

Fuente's offense sucked before and after Norvell. Not real sure why Norvel went from ASU to Memphis though. That's one of those Mullens lateral moves and some. That is a red flag IMO.

Not sure if it’s been covered, but Norvell went from OC to Head Coach. In the ASU to Memphis move. Not quite lateral. I don’t think he was OC for Fuente.
