The seats look great. Something needs to be done with that ill-fitting center console storage compartment lid...it just appears all akimbo. (for the first time, I have managed to use that word in a sentence)

It is akimbo. It needs additional attention. Still more work to do. The door panels should go back on this week, as well as the dashboard.

Replaced the cracked and destroyed window seal on the passenger side. Like everything else, was a much bigger PITA than I was expecting.

Replaced the weatherstripping on the passenger door, as the originals had nearly crumbled away to powder. Then I could finally get the door panel back on. Shockingly, it was a major pain.

The window seal had three rivets that had to be drilled out, then it popped out. The weatherstripping unbolts on both sides of the door and then pops off around the door. It has these little built-in nubs that go into holes in the door.

I occasionally put that flag in the flag holder on the house in place of the American flag.

Looks great and I admire the talent that allows you to do this.

Nice work. I read earlier in the thread that you were not sure if the motor was good. A crate LS motor would be a perfect fit and with a few bolt ons should give you 450 plus HP. I would think if it's the original motor and you put a supercharger on it the bottom end would be all over the asphalt the first time you hammered it anyway.
