Back to the old Rex again?

You blew off the fact that the bowl victory wasn't counted.

So now you are on the record that it's acceptable for people to not count bowl games?

That's quite a reversal.

You are trying, quite poorly I might add, to attribute to me things I have neither said nor claimed. Your issue is with SD not me. To be honest, I didn't even read what he said. Bowl victories always count. If Iowa was ranked, then great. Give that man the extra win. I already told you to and said it was fine. I then asked you if 3-7 was good enough or acceptable to you. In fact, that 2-8/3-7 record has fluctuated several times depending on who you ask. I'll be sure to correct SD next time. No problem. I find it hilarious you took such umbrage(with something that most likely was not done on purpose).

Now why don't you answer the real question...

Dude
Keep drinking and staying away from the keyboard. Perhaps by subjective standards you might think football is in mediocrity, but by tangible metrics (won-loss, championships), the football team is doing well. An AD cannot fire someone that is producing like that with only 2 years in, if we are on year 6 and still havent gotten over the hump, then ya (see Ritch).
Dude! Four more years?!! No way he lasts that long at this rate. It's pitiful.

Sorry, I meant to say 38 straight points.

Here's a little to jog your memory. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/spor...e-game-mike-bianchi-0925-20160924-column.html

And that classic look that Fill Fulmer used to have while wondering what the fvkk was going on.
Yeah I'm going to have to agree that this was a blowout. I don't see how any Gator fan could see it differently. We got our asses handed to us. Call it what you want.

Really, the only positive metric he has is "the rest of the east sucked more". That is literally the only thing that isnt the worst or amongnthe worst we have had in modern Gator football.

Poor Ole Butters probably thinks he is doing a good job. He has done a lot of you losing in his career and been on the staff of some really crappy teams.

I must admit this is pretty funny (and sad) and symbolic as to where we are. Ten years ago if we were told we'd be having an argument like this no one would have believed it.

"We're 2-8 against ranked teams."
"No you lying, spinning bastard! We're 3-7! Admit you were wrong!"

Good God. Someone actually wrote a novel to explain how we're indeed 3-7, not 2-8. Even posted all the embarrassing scores in an attempt to show we weren't actually "blown out" in some of them....they were losses by "only two TD's". It's like you wake up one day and realize you're a Tennessee fan. Please shoot me.

There may have been a point missed somewhere. :suicide:

Tell me about it. I think there's an outside shot he gets fired after next year or year 4.
There might be a small chance but he'd really have to sh!t the bed and probably go under .500 and miss a bowl game at least once if not twice for that to happen. I don't think it will happen regardless after this coming season......Emotional detachment to my favorite sports team here I come....I really hate feeling this way as I've lost interest in all other sports over the last 5-10 years....I guess I'll just cheer for the kids when they do well and act disinterested if their not coached properly.

You know that sad feeling you get when you realize the best Offensive Coordinator you've had in a decade is Dan Mullen... fcking Dan Mullen.

Yep, that is the feeling all Gator Football Fans have.

Just wondering if Mac realizes all of his fellow coaches at UF in other sports are either at or near the top of their game....and he still has a lot of humps to get over. I'd be thinking "oh sh!t" to myself each time I look around knowing the financial responsibility of the specific game I coach...
