There is absolutely zero upcoming season buzz

This season is a buzz black hole.

The rational part of me realizes what is likely coming. But the Gator in me mandates excitement when we are less than 40 days until the season starts.

If Mac was still here, I’d agree with the lack of excitement (and maybe I’ll feel that way about Mullen in 2-3 years - recruiting suggests so).

But Mac is NOT here! We are making educated guesses of doom, but guesses just the same. I’ll stick with ones of hope at least for now. Who knows how long into the Mullen era we’ll be able to have such hope. For now we can.

This is true. I KNEW 100% that Butters was shyt, and I knew by halfway through 2012 that Chimp was shyt, too.

Recruiting is a dumpster fire but im not 100% sure on Mullinz yet. However, he sure is making his job difficult. We are three great recruiting classes away from being a contender again and 2019 won't be the first. I have trouble imaging how Mullinz can last long enough to turn this around.

yeah, that's not at all what I meant. I'll trade all you freaks for good seasons, but it ain't happening, the trade or good seasons, so I'm making the best of it.

I was a little more optimistic last year. We had alot momentum on the recruiting trail and and we didn't know Franks wasn't that good. I also knew if we sucked mac was gonna get run out of town if we sucked.
Now, its just year one of the next 3 and done coach . We're going to be terrible on offense. I'm gonna obviously watch but I'm more excited about having football back in general.

We could go 9-3. Seriously we could just because we play that many ****ty teams. But we will lose the games we care about. We won't be playing for any championships and recruiting is still going to suck. And there's no reason to expect next year to be any different.
If Mullinz fires 3-4 assistant coaches and replaces them with recruiters then I'll get buzzed.
