Weston is big, fast, and physical. But, his situation in high school was unique. All UF was getting was a kid that had amazing physical traits. They had to teach him the position. That takes time. Maybe he gets it, maybe he doesn't. CBN doesn't have to take those kind of chances. He can recruit. Mullenz genuinely thought he got a diamond no one else knew about.

While they think Henderson is a brutal blow, meanwhile they are loading up on 3*'s. 2023 class UF18-4*, 2-3* and Toothless with 12 each respectively. So far for '24 they are 5 and 5 each with no 5*. They're not ignorant for nothing. Shows they obviously are paying too much attention to the talent upgrades here. The real story is Henderson seeing the writing on the wall with UF's receiver class.

They have numbers in their 2024 class but the quality level seems really low for more than half their commits.

As immediate rivals go, fsu and South Carolina's classes are shaping up much better than Tenn's. fsu's you can see has one decent DL but otherwise, not a single other OL/DL so far.

Yeah, looking at their 2023 class here, that's a tiny LB class. 210lbs and under. There are diamond three stars and bust four stars. When half your class is three star though, it's likely that in two years most will be passed or transfer out.

They have numbers in their 2024 class but the quality level seems really low for more than half their commits.

Past performance is indicative of future potential. I'd suspect a staff bringing in classes like that for '23 and '24 will bring in similar classes for '25 and '26, thereby NOT surpassing the 'then' upperclassmen.
