that's why all the betting stuff was memory holed. MLB had already made him the face of the league when it came out. and considering everything is now brought to you buy ESPN bet, they couldnt let him get the pete rose treatment. personally i dont care if he was betting, but there was a lot of evidence that he was betting on his own games, and he didnt always play the best for some of those.
