Bet the farm: Where will offense rank next year?

Where does total offense end up ranked in 2017?

The best averaged just over 200 yards per game, so none of those are too impressive.
The pint you're missing is I said the QBs sucked in large part because of the coaching (or lack thereof). I'm not bashing the players. I think every one of the QBs we've trotted out there would be much better with a decent staff.

Really? Please explain how Treon, LDR or AA could have been coached up. I'm not seeing the dormant ability in any of them.

I'm in the slightly better than last year camp. I met with a few old 70's Gators last week and the concensus was that on O, they can't develop talent or instill discipline. Lots of talk on qbs', route running, running scheme etc. Also of all the folks that stepped up when needed. Brindise, etc

In fair disclosure, Scotch was used in the forming of said opinions and discussions. ;)

I'd be willing to bet almost everyone on this board would take just about any one of these kids right now.
Absolutely we would. We have shyt now. But plenty of QBs look good the first few games then go into the sophomore slump never to recover. Grier's sophomore slump has been going on a while now. I don't think he has even had a completion in nearly two years.

Just like I don't see it in Mac?
You said "the QBs sucked in large part because of the coaching...I think every one of the QBs we've trotted out there would be much better with a decent staff.".
So please explain what unlocked talent you saw in Treon, LDR or AA.

They're all scholarship QBs that were offered by many schools. The common denominator in their failures is our coaching staff. Not sure what other explanation you're fishing for, but you're obviously a Mac apologist so nothing could possibly be his fault.

If he stays healthy the whole season he'll have 3000 (or more) yrds passing this year at WVU while we continue to dream about a QB accomplishing that. Hell...it wouldn't surprise me if he had more total yrds than Mac's/nuss offense combined!

You think he'd put up those kinds of yards in our offense?

He should have close to 4,000 yards there. Driskel even got 4,000 yards at La Tech in his last season.

I think he's gonna be cleared to play.
If so, UF should sue the NCAA. No reason that the suspension should change based on where he is at.
It seemed to me that the rules were clear, and that the suspension and transfer rules could not run concurrently, it's kinda the reason why the suspension would have any teeth in the first place.

Not sure how that works within their bylaws.

Why would UF sue? What purpose? Dude's not even a Gator.

Why is it everytime someone mentions the word "sue", you seem to take the position that it's a waste of time, or effort, or whatever?
