Franks named starter for Michigan game

Let me ask you a question, not that I think Mac is the answer but right now realistically, if you had to make a hire, who would it be?

I think we did this before but I think it would be either Brian Brohm or somebody similar. He is unproven at this point and desperately needs a DC but he is the only one capable of bringing Florida football back to Florida that I've seen.

At some point we have to decide if we are going to compete in the SEC or just drop back to Sunbelt or something. We can't live in a world of hiring 2 mil per year coaches, like a WAC or Sunbelt team. When Bammer and Meatchikin decided they had to turn their program around, they targeted THEIR guy and refused to take no for an answer. We laugh at paying the salaries those guys did but WE HAVE BEEN PAYING 8.5 mil a year to two fvkking loser Sabanlite wannabe HCs (4 mil to Dawgchump and 4.5 mil to Butterteeth), more than Saban himself and as much as Harballs.

Honestly, I don't know who the next coach should be at the moment but it damn well better not be some third tier coach from the WAC or Sunbelt. I'm sure I'm not the only one this close to turning it all off.

Yep. We need to see how Babers does this year. If he turns around Syracuse I think that he would be a great option.

I'm harder on Mac than most but this is the best move. Not to sound repetitive but it really is do or die on offense. Zaire probably gets 2-3 series...maybe? I really thought Zaire was brought here to be the starter. Kudos to Franks for taking the next step. Game on. Come strong or don't come at all. I want to see a fired up team. URGENCY.

ANd if Mac turns a corner then god bless us all. That's the best possible outcome.

My only concern(and it is a great one to have) is if Franks blows up...will Corral come here to sit for a couple years. Again...great problem to have.

I posted the above before I new about Scarlett and Wells. Very disappointed. This is a game where the second something goes wrong it will just snowball out of control. Damn. I'm a little upset about the carelessness of the kids and staff. Yes, staff. Anyone who thinks the staff is off the hook is clueless.
