Muschump was recruiting without that staff. Mac is full of excuses.

Chump didn't recruit anything on the offensive side of the ball. Mac has recruited more playmakers in 2 years than Chump did in 4.

How's he doing on defense? He's the worst recruiter in recorded recruiting history at this university. Other coaches did more with less facilities. Stop making damn excuses for that Pacific Northwesterner.

I didn't make an excuse... just said that Muschamp wasn't really that good either.

And Mac has exactly 1 OL commit right now. One. Good job coach!

Chump brought in elite talent. Mac does not. Chump is by far a better recruiter than MacZero. That is hard to fathom. Chump's offenses were better too. WTF?

Chump recruited Driskel, Briskett, Grier and Treon, all of whom are better than the four that we have now.

On the cusp of falling to 9th in the SEC:

Kentucky moves into Top25 of 247Sports Recruiting Rankings

A big day on the recruiting trail for Mark Stoops and Kentucky sees the Wildcats move into the Top25 to No. 25 of the 247Sports Recruiting Rankings.

The Wildcats started Tuesday with a verbal from four-star defensive end Joshua Paschal. The Olney (Md.) Good Counsel standout chose Big Blue Nation over his other finalists Notre Dame and Oklahoma. Later in the evening the nation's No. 3 JUCO safety inLonnie Johnson chose Kentucky over Georgia and West Virginia.

At The Opening Finals in July, competing alongside many of the country’s most-sought after prospects, nobody tested better than the 6-foot-2 ½, 253 pound Paschal. His Nike Football Rating of 120.24 ranked 34th of the 166 competitors in Oregon, tops for his position group and better than many of the receivers and defensive backs on campus.

That athleticism has translated to the football field this fall as a senior.

Kentucky is up to 19 commits in 2017 with several top targets still in play including Ohio four-stars in athlete Lynn Bowden, receiver Danny Davis and offensive tackle Thayer Munford who I have all 247Sports Crystal Ball forecasted to the Wildcats.

No quarterback, recruiting momentum hurting Jim McElwain at Florida

For the second consecutive season under coach Jim McElwain, Florida got off to a great start but fell flat at the finish line.

Despite the fact that he’s won back-to-back SEC East titles, McElwain continues to struggle at the quarterback position. A couple of transfers, Luke Del Rio and Austin Appleby, were temporary fixes at best for 2016.

Additionally, the Gators don’t have a lot of momentum on the recruiting trail. Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher continues to dominate the Sunshine State — he’s won four straight over UF, too — and might be hard to catch. If that wasn’t enough for McElwain to deal with, here come Charlie Strong, Butch Davis and Lane Kiffin.

Be sure to watch the video above for some quick commentary on McElwain, his search for a QB and a sneak peek at National Signing Day.
