That avatar rule was the same when I was moderating the GSMB. It isn't new. It's about showing a little bit of freaking class, not pandering. It's about appearing that we're older than 12. It's also about keeping the site work safe.

We have about 3 chicks on the board, and they can hold their own without any help from me.
