I'm not referring to coaches, and I knew a few of the coaches on Meyers staff as well. Meyer extremely organized where this staff isn't. I'm referring to the support staff, who are here regardless of the coaching staffs in place. Also one of his secretaries, med staff, organization, travel, media relations etc. in the building. Coaches come and go, a good amount of UF support staff stay regardless of the changes.
I understand that. My connection actually stayed through the transition to Muschamp, which was short lived because of how tense the coaches were around each other. Most of the direct assistants do leave when the coaches go though. The staff you are referring to are more in line with the AD's supervision for all sports programs. Most of Meyer's staff was gutted when Muschamp came in.

In any event, Crete is right. Just by nature of the organization and stupid ass kids, there really aren't any secrets. His PED use was well known. Whether the coaches wanted to know or not is a different story.

The audience wants to see good football so next time you're with the staff could you tell them to either give us some or leave???

You have been spouting that Grier didn't do anything more than a innocent mistake for a year, and you believed his full sob story. Both parties were wrong in the situation. This wasn't Grier first running afoul with the medical staff, and the report of recreational use... are more than rumor. The staff did protect that, but the conspiracy theory it was all to get LDR. And the other bs you have been playing. Honestly? Most the members I know are ready for McElwain to go. They are tired of the disorganization, and BS. You have always been of the audience that Grier was just an innocent bystander through this all.

Many due, depends on their role with the university and what they are supporting.

The staff you are referring to are more in line with the AD's supervision for all sports programs.

Some of the people I'm referring to are in that capacity as well. Especially a few of the office and travel support staff.

Most of Meyer's staff was gutted when Muschamp came in.

A lot of it was, especially those who were picked by Meyer. Muschamp didn't understand the need for consistency in the support staff. Two of the people I know were moved out, just to give moved back in the following year.

In any event, Crete is right. Just by nature of the organization and stupid ass kids, there really aren't any secrets. His PED use was well known. Whether the coaches wanted to know or not is a different story.

The problem isn't that they didn't know that he was using, it was the substance itself. If he didn't submit the substance, but claimed he already had it checked (which he said he did). They why would anyone in the coaching staff ask again. I know one member of the med staff (she helped me though my knee rehab) who claims to have asked Grier twice to sample, and Grier never gave her the name of the product or a sample of the product.

Grier's name like a number of them were most likely (have no proof on this, but have seen this with the UF track team) due to the OTC stuff they were reportedly taken for flu like symptoms that was reported in the game previously. I know at least one time of a few of the track team members who were all tested at once because of OTC cough meds (which I still think is ridiculous).

So you have a second source or proof that "some people" knew he was on PED's. I would start to tread lightly, there are members of this board who personally know the people who oversee these things (including myself). You are making accusations of their personal and professional reputations.

I just remember that low level Scout reporter lady going on the internet talking about the clerk telling people at the nutrition store that a certain product must work good because Grier was buying it there and it had a warning on the bottle saying not to use it if you were subject to testing or some warning like that. I think she may still work with one of those sites.

There was also this gem posted at 24/7 before it was made public I think.

All I'm saying is "some people" knew what was going on with Grier....in fact almost everyone knew and was OK with it until it happened.....

Regardless who knew, it doesn't make it right or smart to continue on. Grier was playing with fire. And why? I'd have run to McDonalds to get him milkshakes.

No bigger than Grier got on PEDs , what ever he was taking sucked.
Grier would have never been popped for PEDS at Bama or Fsu. Bamas whole team seems like their on something performance enhancing, they just looked huge compared to most of our players. It will really suck next year to see Grier light it up for West Virginia while we'll probably be going thru another year of average QB play and think what might have been.

The WVU offense is better suited for Grier's skill set. He should put up monster numbers against the defenses in the Big 12. Being successful against those defenses, doesn't mean he would be successful against SEC defenses though. See Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy, etc...

He was looking ok for the few games he had played for us against SEC defenses, and I bet he was only going to improve the more he played. Also he seemed to be "clutch" when we needed it most. Something we hadn't had since Tebow. I don't really think that is something that you can teach, you have it or you don't.
