Garlic shrimp on creamy corn. A great recipe but the corn and tomatoes have to be fresh, and the tomatoes preferably home grown.

Country get-together in Wakulla County. Fresh shrimp, crab claws and mullet (smoked) plus the trimmings...

That plate looks incredible. I just finished dinner, but I’d gladly kill those grits and the proteins. Not sure I’ve ever had fried crab.

Thank you sir. I’m not really well-traveled, but the fried claws are pretty standard up around the panhandle gulf and the redneck Riviera. They’re from the blue crabs and I suppose there are other species more prevalent in other parts of the state, stone crabs for example. Only real problem with them is that it takes a bunch to fill you up! They’re pretty good broiled as well.

@soflagator your reputation earned you a like. But just for the sake of maintaining the Chatter culinary integrity, load the picture.

Fish may happen again, recipe will not

Fettuccine alfredo with chicken.

My wife made the sauce. It turned out pretty good.

Bratwurst grilled with sauteed onions. Perfect to throw on the grill on a hot summer day while enjoying a cocktail or two.
