I'm really having trouble trying to figure out what's going on inside his head. He knows AR will most likely be the starter next year and they seemed to have a connection. Seems a very strange decision to me. I haven't looked at MD. much, do they have a really prolific passer at QB or something?
No idea if this is a factor, but Cope’s primary recruiter at Bama - the only other school he was considering at the end - was Mike Locksley, who is now the HC at Maryland.

They'll throw Cope the ball, whether he catches it or not is the bigger issue.

For reference, the Terps will play at Michigan, Pedo State, and Whisky next season and host the Sucknuts and Sparty. That's five losses right there. Have fun not even making a bowl next year Jacob.

So would Mike Shula’s offense at Bama be a fair comparison to what BN has run at ULL - run first with play action deep balls?

So much depends on personnel. We loved the passing attack SOS ran, but it requires an accurate passer who reads defenses well. Burrow & Chase etc. made Joe Brady look like a genius. Even Mullen adapted to Trask & our WRs’ abilities.

AR will do well to learn that pocket discipline, and he can break a defense with his legs as well as his arm. But adapt to his strengths and he can take us far.

It ain't about winning games next season for Cope... Maryland can lose all their games... it's about whether or not he thinks he'll improve his skills under that staff, and most importantly, will there be better film for NFL scouts and the draft.

Last season, Cowing accounted for 69 receptions for 1,354 yards and seven touchdowns. He added four rushing attempts for 75 yards and a touchdown as well.

But can he throw a cleat? Oh yeah, that was those other coaches.

Wish we could get Cowing but I think he is going somewhere close to AZ. Has a kid there and wants to be close.
