i love the qualifiers at the end. "this info is solid, book it, next couple months are gonna be huge, but just remember kids change their minds so..." :tard:

The dude is untouchable over there. They line up for his bullchit like patients at the psych ward at meds time. They have a thread for his 'delicious nuggies' dedicated for his bullchit.

This guy is visiting us today. Twice in one month. He loves UF and he also talks about how much his mom loves UF.

This guy is also visiting today. First time on campus. He speaks very highly of Coach Spencer who is recruiting him.

We weren’t going to take a 2023 tight end. After what they have seen so far in spring, we will be taking 1 maybe 2.

Its reported that Kirkland got to sit in with the OL meetings before practice. That sounds pretty good.

How nice to have a HC who sees value in working overtime to entice IMG kids. Perhaps Dancin' Dan and Butters thought there wasn't any talent there.
Is it just me, or have we had more kids from there visit in the last three+ months than in all the other years combined?

Tony Mitchell's comments after his visit today.

"I would say they are in the lead."

"It was great getting to see the guys, live action in practice, seeing how coach Patrick Toney and coach Raymond coach the DBs. Just good getting back, getting to see practice."

"I've always thought he was a great coach, so it was fun getting to see that in person, I feel like he does a great job of really teaching his players and developing them." (about Raymond)

"Just being a jack of all trades, like every position, working on good technique. Just being a good player overall, I feel like I would fit good into the system."

"Just the staff, great staff, just having a good relationship with everybody"

Vic Burley's comments after his visit today.

"Way up at the top. They are waaaaay up there," I love what they're doing -- GatorMade, that's a real big improvement from the old coaching staff. They are really focused on the character development, really just trying to raise young men."

"It was a great (visit), the old coaching staff was good, but I really love this new coaching staff. That really means something."

"At first they talked a little ball but then it switched. They were really asking me questions like, 'What do I want from a college?' They're telling me, 'Football will use you, but you've got to use football to get that education.' So it was really more personal than regular trips."

"They were saying watch No. 9, Dexter, Coach Spencer said I remind him so much of him in their scheme, I could do it. Same way at my high school, they do the same thing. I can do it."

"I really loved it here. I really love what the coaches are about. Coach Spence, coach Napier, coach Chaney. All of them. It was really a great atmosphere here. Really watching the practice I really love the tempo, the energy they have, just everything they do. Just energy."

"Coach Napier, great guy. I really love his vision of what he wants from his players. I can really tell from the way way he's coaching, the way he looked at everybody, you can feel the environment, like feel what he's talking about."

"They are more about the person than the football player. They are trying to develop the character."

"I really got a feel for how he coached, what he do as a coach. I sat in the meeting room with him. I saw how he talked to his players. If you do something wrong, he on you. But if you do something good he'll love you right back up. He's really the same way on the field and off the field. Just a great guy to be around. I mean he's going to love you but when you do something wrong he'll get on you. But he's real cool to be around. He's like that uncle that's always around you that make you laugh, smile, act up, you know?" (about Coach Spencer)

"That we're recruiting you because you're a good football player, but you're also a great person. You have a great personality and we need that here at the University of Florida."

Dylan Lonergan's Dad's comments after his visit today.

“It was really good. We got to see a lot, we sat in quarterback meetings, we sat in team meetings, we were able to see the new facilities being built. It’s supposed to be built in July, it looks incredible. We went to the academic facility. Met a lot with Coach (Ryan) O’Hara and Coach (Billy) Napier and watch practice. Overall had a great day. And spent an hour with Coach (Kevin) O’Sullivan on the baseball side.” (Dad)

“I think what makes it a fit, it’s a new staff that has proven itself wherever they’ve been. There is a lot of tradition playing quarterback for the University of Florida. The baseball program is rich in tradition and competes in the strongest conference in the country. It’s really the ability to play at a high level at an institution that’s top five in academics for public schools in the country that can compete for both sports for National Championships."

“Loved what we saw and would love to get back down.”

Bryce Lovett's comments after his visit today.

"I don't know what it is, but it's something about it that obviously makes me keep coming back."

"It's just chill, I like being here. It's close to home, too."

"We was actually talking about it today. We were fixing to set one up for June." (about his next visit)

"I have some OVs, probably like Louisville or Missouri maybe. I'm not sure about Louisville yet, still trying to see what I can do."

"They want to bring me in to play tackle, but I can play anywhere and they know that. So they said if there's an opportunity for me to play guard, they would put me at guard or wherever I need to be. They want to slim me down a little bit, cut some weight and put some muscle on."

"I'm cool with anything. I can play all over the line. I've been playing all over the line my whole life."

"It's obviously making it better, but I don't think that just that is making them better than anybody else, because there's some schools I cannot get to. So I can't just judge them just because I haven't been there, I have to see them for myself."

"Honestly basically just trying to see what it would be like living here for a week, so I can see what it would be like living here for four years. I've already seen The Standard (apartment complex players now have the option of staying at), that's nice. I mean I could live there now. It's so nice. So basically just trying to see if I actually like it for four years. And also just try to talk to as much players as I can. Because right now, I talk to Richie Leonard, that's my person. I want to like talk to more."

"He says nothing but good things about this new coaching staff and how they're doing stuff and how the new living's going to be. It hasn't been the same since the old coaching staff. He likes this one better. He's giving me good thoughts and ideas about why I should come here."

"What I ate earlier was so good, man. It was like wings, burgers, this pasta stuff. It's gas."
