I like the sense of urgency about DL and how it relates to stacking up vs UGA and Bama. Article says the staff knows it’s a “must” to get an elite nose tackle, two beasts at interior DL, and an edge rusher the world fears.

Seems the OL turnout was a little underwhelming but maybe this is where on field play could help by December…..

Jaquavious Russaw left the weekend party with a strong interest to set up an OV. We are recruiting him to compete immediately at Jack and it sounds like he is excited about it. Guess we will see.

To be fair, the momentum swing towards duh u last week or so was painful to watch. There was good reason to be concerned. It’s a long way to Dec, so I wasn’t near the ledge, but I was sweating a bit. Glad to regain some mo, but we still need to improve across OL, LB and DL.

I still think CBN can have a lot of success here. He’s fixing a ton of wreckage. I think recruiting is the one area that’s lagging (whether it’s position coaches or the NIL stuff, idk). I’m in wait and see mode and nowhere near the “fire CBN before Season 1 starts” group of loonies.
