Yeah I don’t like it. The profiles make sense, but just not a fan. As I said, it was always there because it’s an old school staple. Takes some of the attention away from the tripe and tomatoes, so there’s that.

That sounds pinkies out fancy…and disgusting but NV already confirmed that. I thought prosciutto should be cooked.

Dry cured. A staple at my grandfathers house. Served with fresh mozzarella.
We call that country ham in KY, except prosciutto is sliced thinner. Served on biscuits, not fruit.

There's actually a bit more to it than that, but the two biggies are the types of the pigs and the fact that prosciutto is dry cured, but not smoked, whereas most - but not all - country ham is dry cured and smoked. (As you may have guessed, I am a big prosciutto fan and know a bunch more fun facts, which I'll provide upon request!)

Since the great freezer thaw of 2022 we’ve been eating a lot of beef. Thursday night it was a ribeye, fillet and a sirloin with a side of shrimp. (First world problems)
Tonight we made beef stroganoff with a side of asparagus wrapped in prosciutto.
I’m not ready to have seedy leave me so no mushrooms.
Seedy had an egg bagel w/ prosciutto for breakfast. What else can we do with prosciutto?

Prosciutto is like bacon goes with almost anything. I like it a lot on pizza too

We really need a sarcasm font on this board. BTW into is one word. The third C in Coca-Cola is capitalized and the Hebrew word for wind translates Coca-Cola from the southern United States. Just like the Hebrew word Manna translates directly to Krispy Kreme glazed donut (warm).
