Don't give a $hite if this belongs in another thread or if it has already been posted and I missed it. Just read this and had to post it. PRAISE THE LAWD!!!!! I'm pumped now fellas, no more having to see him get run over and be made a permanent part of the field. No more seeing him celebrate after he gets burned for 40 yards and runs down the slow guy that had no business burning him in the first place. No more having to see him make one great play only to be erased into the shawdorealm the next down because he just gave up another third down. No more having to see him get an interception only to see him get obliterated and be on the receiving end of the hit of the year from a WR and give the only take away he ever had right back to the opposing team, sorta like waterboy now that I think about it.

The best comment I seen about him, which just sums it up, is at least he didn't throw a shoe..................

Now, if we can get something official saying that Burney is gone I dont' give 2 mighty $hites were we finish in recruiting, we have won the offseason.

I swear to god if one of these MFs find a way to come back for another season...........

Don't hold back, not sure where you stand with "0". Just kidding!!! I am right there with you!

I have never, ever wanted someone to graduate or move on as I have Dean. Before Dean it was Antone (An-toast) Lott. He should change his name for Burns. Both those guys got burnt A LOT. Difference with Dean is he would act all world yet on the play he gave up a gazillion yards. Sure, great hit and tackle at the one yard line, but dayum MOFO you got burned for 50 yards.

Sad to see him go.....NOT!

I'm waiting until after NSD day to judge the class.

There's a possibility that there could be a surprise or two tomorrow. It would really help BNs perception with the fans. I doubt it will happen.

So BN and staff need to fill out the class with Portal or on NSD. Neither will move the rankings after ESD.

We sit at 21 right now. We need 30-35?

NSD will be the day for me.

Maybe 4th in the SEC, probably 5th.

Missing on some positions.

Sadly, my expectation level is permanently on low fuel level.

My expectations are a full class. We can't go into next year low on scholarship players. BN and staff have a LOT of work to do between now and Feb 1. Need to fill holes. (LBs even if they have to go to Labor Ready)

Yeah, the problem I believe is developing based on the reported rumors is we aren't going to get many of the coveted recruits and while several of our portal entries have landed at other programs we are at zilch on the receiving end. The strategy of only taking top tier contributors is apparently fading away which leaves us with filling out the roster with 3*'s and portal back-up's that may be worse than the ones we let leave. If that occurs we have not improved the roster just changed out rusty parts.

Actually we don't have only "Top Tier" recruits now. We have low to mid 4s.

How many top 100?

How many top 200?

How many top 50 from Florida?

Those are Rhetorical questions.I don't have the ambition to figure that out right now. I'll wait until after NSD.

Are you talking about this year’s class?

247 Composite rankings: 4 Top 100 and 7 Top 150

Collins, Dijon, Rashada, the guard we flipped, Norman and Mizell are top tier. Lots of solid pieces around them. It just doesn’t have quite the splash, because we’ve missed on several of those.

5* is about the top 25-30 of the rankings
High 4* is until about #100
Mid 4* is until about #210
Low 4* until about #400

So behind those 7 we have 13 (??) outside the top tier and 10 to 15 empty slots. I wonder when or if we will see some commits from the portal that actually are better than the players who left thru the portal?

How many 5 stars were among ETN, Montrell, O’Cyrus and a few others. ESPN top 200 and other b.s. artists get way too much attention and credit imo. Billy is working his ass off and y’all are running him down prematurely. We won’t know the true value of this class until they actually see the field in a year or 2 anyway.

Here ate Mullen’s last several classes. I am not going to include kids that never entolled or made it through summer:

2018: 3 Top 100 and 3 Top 150 (so no more in the top 150 after the top 100)

2019: 3 Top 100 and 6 Top 150 (his best class)

2020: 1 5* (Dexter), 3 Top 100, 3 Top 150 (so no more in the top 150 after the top 100)

2021: 1 5* (Marshall), 3 Top 100, 5 Top 150

2021 class - size of class: 22 commits and only 12 remain. From Mullen’s last class! And one of the 12 is the LS who should’ve never gotten a scholarship!

The 2019 class was disastrous. Here is the list of kids that never played a down, never made it to campus, or never played anything other than reserve:

Chris Steele: out before summer
Bogle: transferred to Michigan State
Hopper: Transferred to Mizzou (right when he was supposed to start
Summerall: Transferred to USF
Diabate: Transferred to Utah
Jalon Jones: Kicked out for sexual assault
Kimbrough: Transferred to Michigan State
Dionte Marks: Transferred to Ole Miss
Jesiah Pierre: Transferred to Texas Tech
Diwun Black: never played - couldn’t make grades. Came in 2 years later
Wardrick Wilson: never got on campus - issue with passport?
Deyavie Hammond: never got on campus

12 of the 24 commits basically did nothing

You're fushsing nuts!
If you mean the Anthoine Lott that helped us go undefeated in the regular season in 95 and win a NC in 96 Dean couldn't clean his locker without screwing it up and then tweeting about how great of job he did. Try Monte Grow or Will Hill or a few more that would fit in that category.

It was Kemore Gamble who transferred to UCF, not Zipperer.

Zipperer? I think/hope that was confusion.
