He's got to be eyeing a JC transfer so he can transfer back up in 2017 and play right away. No way he or his father are THAT dumb to go to another FBS school and sit till mid-2017.

How would he do that? He still has to finish his year ban until November 2017. And then he can't play in FBS for a year. And the two penalties are concurrent.

Division II. AND Grier's dance-mom dad must also think that Will would not be good enough to start mid season. That says a lot about either his confidence in his son or the level of talent he's up against.
I seriously doubt this. If anything, the Grier family as a whole has shown an incredible level of arrogance. I think there are other issues at play here.

I guess we used up all our luck when it comes to QBs after Tebow.

His suspension ends early October. He could easily start mid season for some JC program. He wouldn't have to sit a year if he transferred down a division. He'll basically take the Cam Newton route. Worst part is, while we can keep him from transferring to an SEC school right now, we can't stop him from doing it after he goes to JC.

Where he can then join Muschamp at USC

Here is my wild-ass guess on the situation. Mac is still trying to clean house. We've seen a lot of improvement in the area of teamwork, discipline and those sorts of things in one year. But that video of Grier in the party house where Hardin lives kinda shows a little bit of the opposite of what I think Mac wants from the team. Perhaps the meeting they had a few days ago was a "here's how its gonna be around here if you want to play for the Gators" meeting. And the Griers didn't like the terms so they are folding up their tent and hitting the road.

This just in. Grier's mugshot appears next to the word ****wad in the urban dictionary. I about lost my lunch over Mac's comment that he was seeking a 'fresh start." Everything about this punk is fresh.

I could see this being the case. I've seen nothing from this family that would lead me to believe otherwise.

So he'll have to sit out the first half of 2017 no matter what. What an idiot. :lol2:

Bobby Sabelhaus just passed Grier on my all-time UF quarterback list.

Don't take this as gospel but I've heard and seen a few places Will and Hardin may have a cocaine habit. May be a factor if true.

It's mind-numbing stupid is what it is. Even more is, what kind of selfish jerkoff does this?
