2019 Spring Game

I can tell you this. Being old and forgettng sh#t is a reality. Even stuff you know for sure will sometimes drop / drip out of your head. But in front of a camera can exacerbate it. Robbie and Pat have served me well over the years with their Sun writing and vanilla style. I really liked Bianchi when he wrote for the Sun, Stll like him. But since we are supposed to despise all three I guess I'm completely wrong. Everyone is a critic and the world is a column. And I like swimming against the tide...........

Sorry I missed the oline, and they held their own against a defense restrained in order to have an enjoyable spring game. I hope that they will grow and become decent, great would be nice but I doubt that will happen this year.

Only a game against a decent defense will tell the story, hopefully our QB can make quick and correct decisions to offset any deficiencies in the oline. Our backs better be able to block as well.

The smiles on those faces = big fun. It's STILL great to be a Florida Gator. Glad they were brought back to do this. It damn sure wasn't much fun under Mac, I can tell ya that.

I enjoy watching these guys for a few minutes only because they are such a train wreck on camera. It is hysterical. Dooley did add a meaningful comment. Shocking, I know. Here are the highlights,

1. Dooley said Mullen told him that he feels he finally has the pieces to be able to call the game he wants to call. I find this huge as we all saw how restricted Mullen kept things last year in large part due to Franks.

2. Announced attendance 39k.

3. These 2 idiots don't remember the name of their podcast.

It's high time Robbie ditched the formfitting polo shirt. His manboobs are growing sideways.

I'm already old and forget things all the time. But, if I did a podcast on a regular basis during the season, I'd remember the name. It is part of their job.

Some of you need to get off your high horse with these two Gator legends. Not a week goes by that I don’t walk into my office on Monday morning, struggling to remember the names of coworkers and clients and kind of bumbling around with a general sense of confusion about what I actually do for a living. It’s perfectly normal and anyone saying otherwise is just being unreasonable.

Besides, when I want to know what happened last Thursday with the football team, or need a vague prediction of what may or may not happen in the near or distant future, largely pieced together from headlines, twitter rumors and the overwhelmingly obvious, who else is gonna deliver like Dooley and Robbie?

How many fuking times do I have to tell you the game was on Dish Network, alternate channel 2. If you have outdated equipment, that is you don't have a Hopper DVR then the alternate channel is 596 or 597. I told you to try that in post 1373:

"Donk, if you really don't have all the SEC Alt channel you might try 596. It's listed as an SEC Alt on some program listings."

All kidding aside, I'm messing with them about the memory thing. What pisses me off about these two is their work. I see other gator writers put out a ton of quality stuff. It makes me wonder what these guys are doing with their day. Someone on this board has said this a few times and I agree. The Sun needs to retire these two and hire young writers.
