I hope you are right but wasn't 2011 the last time we replaced most of our O line like this and they got killed once we played the non-KY SEC defenses.

two years of hev. we havent had two years of hev since 2006.

he really is a great tactician of an OL coach, even though he isn't great as a recruiter.

I think this was the right move. Yes he probably could have gotten drafted late based on potential but it's always better to shoot for the big payday and be able to rely on actual performance. Most NFL backs dont get that second contract.

People questioned whether Davis might be the more talented back and he might be. But from what I've seen so far he isn't a complete back.

Perine is the real deal who is a nifty runner with good vision and good power, can catch, knows how to block and WHO he should be blocking. I won't be surprised to see a breakout year for him and a nice payday in the NFL.

Continuing to bash this kid is ridiculous. He's accepted his role and understands that he likely won't be starting at Florida.

But it's not his fault he was chosen to be a part of this program. you're a second-stringer on your high school team and you get a chance to go to Florida? How quick do you sign? Bash Butters all you want, and that should be daily. But now that he's part of the program, he's been a good teammate by all accounts, not running off for greener pastures, not buying s*** with credit cards that don't belong to him. I'm glad he's a Gator. It's not like we're at our scholarship limit anyway.
