Hopefully Freeport gets a serious face-lift. It's basically Riviera Beach with Breitling stores at this point. No idea why anyone would ever pay money to go there.

Cus the cruise ships stop there. Atlantis Paradise is nice but prolly more yachts parked in the harbor than locals on the island.
We use to go every weekend on gambling junkets. For $50 we could get on a chartered flight that left OIA at 10Am and returned at 10 pm. They'd lead us off the plane to the casino where we had to buy $1000 in chips. We'd have the free brunch, turn in our chips and head for the beach. Come back in time for the free buffet, gamble a little and leave. The plane was full of old Asians, smoking and playing Mahjong. We'd be in the back in bathing suits with a volleyball and snorkeling gear. Good times, good times.

Agreed, needs a fresh start. Great location, close to US, awesome fishing, and cheap enough. It should be the gem of the carribean.
