Didn’t think you were allowed to post in this thread
Hard to believe that a man who has his own thread to complain in is slumming with those of us that think of this a recruiting rather than complaining.

Hopefully we're using this to put some pressure on the kid from utah.Jaren Handy and Byron Young are both delaying their signings to take visits. Thought we’d land one of the two or Bogle

If you don’t believe coaches will sour on a school, you haven’t been paying attention to what’s happened at UF. Meyer, Muschamp and McElwain have all burned bridges at schools. Hell look at us in Jax. We get next to nothing for just not talking to the guys. What happens when you seriously piss a coach off? If a kid is good enough for UL to offer, he’s got other significant offers.
The donk is praying we don't land top talent. It will prove he is wrong again and he hates to be wrong. Problem is, he is almost always wrong. Let the facepalms fly wronk oh I mean donk.
he just bytched about not getting recruits for months and months even though the title of the recruiting thread literally states we flipped two miami recruits within the last two weeks, and also got Nayquan Wright right before that too. He just makes up reasons to be upsetThe donk is praying we don't land top talent. It will prove he is wrong again and he hates to be wrong. Problem is, he is almost always wrong. This is literally no different than every Butters year when we were going to flip Bammers linebackers (both) or the year before when we were going to flip both Meatchikn LBs, Ugly's five star QB etc.
They can't keep you off campus. Cfb is a business and the coach should've had backup plan in place. Does he blast his players when they decommit and go elsewhere? You really don't want to piss off a powerful HS coach at a powerhouse program. You treat them very nicely, hand them some money under the table like Bama does and like Auburn used to do at a certain high school in Ft Lauderdale, you encourage certain graduates to donate new sod or donate generously at the fundraiser. Maybe HS coaches are not as powerful in Florida as they are in Texas but they can certain push certain kids to Bama...(cough) Jeudy (cough).

So........ we gonna save a dozen seats and pray Feb is better than ESD? Is this what we are setting up now?
What don’t you get? If coaches don’t talk to the coaches, they can’t vouch for your culture. If their only experience is that you you were an ass, then they have grounds to bad mouth your culture.Right you are had UF being averaging 600 yards a game, UF still would have gotten no players out of Jax. You burn a lot more bridges with say WRs by NOT THROWING THE BALL compared to making a high school coach mad. High school coaches have long not been very important in who a kid signs with. It is not 1960 any more.

You realize the coaches are father figures for a lot of these guys. They have sway. The coaches also care for their players. Why would they send a kid somewhere they don’t trust.
you don't pay attention to anything at all do you. Why do you think Seider is so highly regarded as a recruiter? He has very good relationships with the coaches in the territory that he covers. It's not all about the coach and high school relationship, but it is very significant. If you don't understand this, then you just aren't credible in this thread.Yep is is 1967 again and you are Gatorbait talking to high school coaches to determine where players are going to go.
I remember that. Last 2 staffs we had we're an absolute embarrassment to UF... And Foley gave them raisesWe actually had a couple coaches that were not allowed back in a couple schools. Just a few years back.
The best recruiters in the country disagree with you completely. It is why they are the best recruiters. Of course, playing an unattractive style of football also matters a lot also.. High school coaches have long not been very important in who a kid signs with. It is not 1960 any more.
One of the many things I was wrong about. Those guys were going to win it all and rebuild and RISE GATOR NATIONRISE and yet they sucked.I remember that. Last 2 staffs we had we're an absolute embarrassment to UF... And Foley gave them raises
Seider learned directly at the feet of Doc Holliday, one of our best recruiters ever. Doc said multiple times, we recruit the HS coaches first and foremost.you don't pay attention to anything at all do you. Why do you think Seider is so highly regarded as a recruiter? Actually, recruiters who are highly thought of are highly thought of because there school recruits well when they are there. The rating of recruiters has nothing to do with how friendly they are with high school coaches. College are not trying to recruit high school coaches, but rather top high school talent. Or as Thomas Sowell might say, outcomes matter not opinions.
